The genesis of That Marvelous Quartet was the formation of a piano/vocal duet by Larry Harms and Stephanie Aaron*. Over the next few years, the duo evolved into a trio that included drummer Tom Marko and finally solidified with the addition of Trefan Owen on guitar. Originally billed as The Vineyard Jazz Quartet, the group began appearing on a regular basis at VIV Wine Bar, in Bloomington, IL, gaining a loyal following with their take on classic jazz standards and their versions of "Lucky Lips," "When I Get Low I Get High," and the red-hot "Love For Sale."
